If you are planning to soak the sun in one of the best white sand beaches of the world, then visit Clearwater Florida. This beach town has everything under the sun, (quite, literally!) and when we reached there, it was a wonderful sight to remember. Florida was just as we had imagined, lively, full of buzz and the sunlight dancing on the blue clear waters every second.
- The Clearwater Beach
This beach, situated on the cozy west coast of Florida near Tampa has the world record for the most days with consecutive sunshine, which stands at 768! Just like many others, we could reach the place quite easily due to its close distances with two International airports in Tampa and St. Petersburg. At the Clearwater beach, we spent a half day just walking on the white sand, exploring the surfing and souvenir shops. After spending the daylight there, we headed to the Pier 60 to watch the glorious sunset celebration with jugglers and fire – breathers.
Situated just a few miles away is the Honeymoon Island, which is the state’s most popular park. This island is the home to plenty of beaches that have untouched by development and we have been recommended to visit this place during the weekdays if you are looking for some privacy! After the Honeymoon Island, we took a ferry to the Caladesi State Park, which is less busy than the sister park. Plan a picnic there for a whole day and you won’t regret it!
